Seaside, OR

00We made it to Seaside we split the week between the two places to stay. It was really nice here too, but we were a little further from the ocean and we kinda missed being so close. Seaside has the sandy beaches, which is a different fun. The condo from the beach. It was a much bigger place than Depoe Bay.

You could see for ever.
Lovin' the beach and all the sand.
Luckily they had these was off the sand showers.
You could wash off a little on the sand anyway.
This is at the Salt Makers monument. During the Lewis and Clark expedition they needed salt to preserve meat and things. They would get salt water from the ocean and then boil it down and get salt that way. Kind of interesting.
This morning Abi, David and my self did go and ride the bike on the beach. It was pretty fun. We didn't get any picts of it though. I think I could live close to the ocean. It is just so relaxing!

I told David we just need to get the kids a candy and let them swim in the pool and they would be totally happy! I couldn't believe how much happiness these jaw breakers brought. Funny kids! Just a reminder it is the simple things in life that matter!!! Kids are a good reminder of what really counts.
