Lehi Parade

At the Lehi Round-up Parade Logan, Brooklyn, Allee, Macy,
Spencer, William, Abi, and David
Oh and of course the Princess.
Watching the parade with the Wassmers.
We couldn't believe that there was so much candy to get. Cassie thought it was funny that my kids by the end were picky as to what they were picking up. I guess it was hot and they didn't want to work so hard for something they weren't going to eat.
Fun times!

New cot for Scout Camp

For Father's Day we got David a new cot so he would be comfy at Scout Camp.
We set it up to try it out. We didn't put it away soon, and later we found Spence trying it out and breaking it in. (notice the drool under his mouth) :) We LOVE you dad!

The day dad got home from scout camp. The kids love to make signs when upon most returns. We hadn't had a week without our dad for a long time and Abi, who did most of the work, wanted him to have a great WELCOME HOME!
William did make the small sign on the top.
Dad felt loved.

David's Baseball

David had a good season. It was amazing the difference this year from the past years. He started with much more confidence and it showed. He had a good team with good coaches, but lost out in the city tournament. It was kinda sad, but the great things we can do with the extra time. Good playin' David! He can't wait until next year!
David in action at 3rd base.
He played short stop, pitcher, 3rd base. and a little out field this year.
David connecting with the ball. He had some great hits this year.
It is always fun to have a friend on your team, but to have your best friend is,
"SWEET, AWESOME, and UNBELIEVABLE," says David!
The pitchin', catchin' pair.

What happens when olders get ahold of youngers

David and Abi got hold of Spencer and William today and you can see what they did to them. The funny things our kids do. Glad that they can keep entertained.
They called themselves the cool dude brothers.
Spence with the added sunglasses affect.

Abi Doing What She Loves Best!

William's coach pitch season begins

William playing catcher.
David wants him to get good at this position so he can start catching for him.
GO WILLIAM!
He got some good hits!
William in out field, in ready position.
Sad to say that these 6 year olds didn't quite hit the ball that far.
GO RED SOX!!!!!

Fishin Trip

David took the kids fishing on Saturday morning.
It was for a High Priest Group activity.
The kids had a great time!
The Group leader has 100 plus fishing polls so all they had to do is show up.
He got they all hooked up. (no pun intended)

William was the only one in the Bretey Family to catch a fish.
He was so excited and couldn't wait for mom to put the pictures on the blog.

Fathers and Sons

Settin' up the tent at Fathers and Sons camp out. Or Brothers and sons as William said.
They had a good time and the coolest thing about the event David thought was he learned how to drive stick shift. He says don't tell any cops though. Good thing mom wasn't there she may have had a heart attack.
They stopped at Camp Floyd on the way home.
Kids will always play in water where ever they can find it.
The girls stayed home and enjoyed dinner, movie, shopping and ice cream.
Abi wants them to go every weekend. :)

David's 5th grade talent show

David playing his guitar. He has been taking guitar for a few years now. It is a toddlers dream come true. He had a class talent show and the class picked him, one of four, to go on to the grade talent show. Good Job David!

I need to upload our video camera instead of just the digital camera video because it doesn't allow a ton of recording time. I hope to soon learn that step soon.

William's kindergarten graduation

Tyler Bradford and William
Who would have ever guessed they would have been best buds in kindergarten. Tyler's dad is Jason, he lived in Blanding a few years of high school. It is a small world.

Some times it was hard to see who the teacher was because she was the same size as the kids. :) Just kidding Mrs. Paxman. We love her and hope she gets to be Spencer's teacher too. :) Only a couple month and yes Spencer will be in Kindergarten. Crazy!!!
